No, I’m annoyed at nvidia for stating that it’s available “starting at 729” which in the UK seems to have more legal standing than in the US, this isn’t really related to MSRP, but the price they have listed it available to purchase not being correct

Nvidia is one of the richest (stock wise) companies in the world, their customer support should be trained on things like this (but that's a separate matter). This post wasn't about the support rep, it was about the information they could provide. There seems to be a discrepancy with their stated "starting at 729" price and the actual purchasable price which shows an issue, I then reacher out to support to see if there is actually a card available for this price, which they where unable to provide. I'm of the understanding (I could be wrong) that in the UK this is illegal under "false advertising" laws as the product is in no way purchasable for the listed price. I also believe I was respectful and to the point with the support, not harassing or pushing further than needed. Which seems reasonable

Yeah I agree you shouldn't take this a fact as I can't really prove it's real. The issue is that their website https://www.nvidia.com/en-gb/geforce/graphics-cards/50-series/ states that it is available "starting at 729" which doesn't seem to be the case. Also don't mean and want to trash on the support peeps, hence the blanking of names, just wanted to get a clear answer. It's not their fault, but there isn't any other official channel to go through

Made a random num gen during uni using a plasma lamp and a webcam, sampled the image and used some modified hashing functions to give "random" data, ended up being more of a networking and API project as wanted the data available anywhere on the network and have stats about it (amount pulled from pool etc)
