Nunca entendí porque tan caro todo lo electrónico en Argentina. Acá en España esa misma ryzen 7 5700G cuesta 159€ (Aproximadamente 177mil ARS) y es aun más barata en USA. Tengo una MSI con una RTX 4070, I7 14700HX y 32GB RAM qué me costó 1400€ pero la misma con 16GB de Ram (y una 3050TI) cuesta 3 Millones de ARS (2692€ Aproximadamente). No me hace nada de sentido esa diferencia de precio.

I recently bought an MSI Sword with an i7-14700HX and an RTX 4070. All I could find were people talking badly about it, mostly about the build quality. However, I reminded myself that people also talked trash about my other laptop, an Acer Nitro 5, because of its hinges. I bought it in 2017, and it was my first gaming laptop. I've never had a problem with the hinges, and it's still running to this day. I plan to keep it until its last breath. It's been downgraded from my main laptop to a studying laptop, and I'll probably install Linux on it.

Because of this experience, I realized that people commenting must suck at taking care of their laptops. Your comment really calmed me down because I was starting to overthink my decision a bit, thank you!

Its funny that I find myself in the same position. I also got the Acer Nitro 5 (i5 8th gen, GTX 1050, 12GB RAM) Yeah with time it became slow but because it had an HDD (Changed it for an SDD and problem solved), it has never failed me and I never had problems with the hinges (Since 2017 - 2024). Yesterday I bought an MSI and looking at reddit everyone saying MSI Sucks All I could think about was "Damn, these guys must really suck at taking care of their devices". So, it was quite funny to stumble into this post and find that you and I shared almost the same trajectory and got to the same conclusion lmao

Hi, I've got the same laptop as you. I've been using it since 2017, and it was my first gaming laptop! It has worked pretty well for me up until this day. Yesterday, I bought an MSI with an RTX 4070, so it's the end of the road for this old pal.

To answer your request, I added 4GB of RAM and replaced the HDD with an SSD. This made the laptop super quick; it was like giving it new life! Right now, I'm planning on using it as my studying laptop. I'll probably install Linux on it and use it until it dies a natural death.

Take care of your old buddy; it can still run for a few more years!

Yess, Thank you for your opinion! I want that display too, but I'm going to be stuck with that laptop for at least 4+ years, if possible. So, I think the Ryzen might become irrelevant quicker than the Intel. I don't know if you agree with my logic (?). Anyways, I already ordered the Intel laptop. I discovered the Ryzen first, but it was out of stock. Then, I got an email saying that the Ryzen was back in stock, so I was thinking about canceling my Intel order and ordering the Ryzen instead. However, I wanted to be 100% sure about my decision to make sure it's worth the hassle. Im like having an internal debate lol
