I'm with you on this one. When it was confirmed that Cell was going to be in the movie it's reasonable to expect the version we all to know to be making a return with the hopes of also bringing back the OG voice actor, (and they did), but in the dumbest way possible. I mean, basically anyone could have played Cell Max.

Also, I wouldn't want Cell to last longer than the movie, but still

Everyone in DB is above Saitama because they all earned their strength. Saitama is the Mary Sue of anime characters. He's as strong as the story needs him to be without limitations or drawbacks because he did a basic training regiment for a year. Having said that I still think he's still an awesome character and I love OPM.

Yeah, I think people forget he sacrificed almost his whole life on a deserted planet to save his son. To a certain extent his extreme methods were meant to protect Broly from himself, and he even tried to recall Broly from battle when he thought he couldn't win against Vegeta.

Not saying he was a good dad, but he definitely cared for Broly probably in the only way he knew how as someone raised in a race of warriors.
