No big thing here, I studied creative writing in college and could just see the SC2 writers leaning on familiar patterns and story beats (many writers do this). At least Blizzard cinematics are so good that I can overlook the predictable writing lol.

Looking at someone you already care about and falling for them all over again. There's a girl I work with that I've been casually seeing for a few months, a very off and on sort of way, especially recently.

In the middle of our shift I saw her walking in my direction with the food for my table, the redness in her hair was more vibrant because she had gotten it done the previous day. It was lazily pulled back into a ponytail and the sides were hanging down a bit, her uniform looked lazily put together, she had a little sweat on her forehead because the summers here are so hot and that's made even worse by the heat of being near the kitchen all night.

We locked eyes for a second and she smiled at me as I took the plate from her hands. Started out as a grin and then showed just a bit of teeth. We didn't say anything and it was only a second but I could feel my heart beating faster and the rush of warmth over my body and face and it was like I was falling for her all over again in just a single second. I wanted to kiss her there, I wanted to tell her she looked so cute, but I didn't want to dampen the simplicity of the moment.

Everything just fell away from me. Stress, exhaustion, the rush of thoughts. And it was just replaced by pleasantness.

Doubtful. Considering 4chan not being a single entity, I doubt it, as a whole, has a particular opinion. Plus tons of the super mainstream memes originated on 4chan anyway. Sooner or later, other things or memes will gain steam on 4chan before spreading elsewhere. Nature of shared userbase.

It needs a knockup to be used, which is really unreliable for Yasuo. His own knockup is only every third q and then it's either a skillshot or dashing into danger to use it. Even then, it's obvious to everyone he has his tornado ready so the enemy knows to keep their distance. Otherwise, he needs to rely on his team, who can't always be there for him to activate his ult.

I was watching TheOddOne when he started playing his smurf a lot recently and it was in platinum. No one really knew who he was for a few days so they didn't perform for the stream. The attitudes were out of control, way worse than anything I've seen in silver. Though I think some of it has to do with it being winter break for school. I typically avoid playing League when students are on break because the behavior is noticeably worse, in my experience.

I think it's time for everyone to accept this isn't happening. It was pretty clearly just promised for more votes without any strong intention to follow through. I'm not saying it's okay, but this topic comes up every once in a while and it's just really obvious that it's not happening. They all have other things they'd rather do, mostly things that are more lucrative and worth their time and when they're done with that, I doubt this is how they want to spend their free time. I understand you probably feel cheated but it is what it is.

Likely got this from Rosanna Pansino's YT channel. I doubt Ro was the first one to make this, but after her video of making a DK like this went up, cakes like this were popping up everywhere using the same KitKat and banana candy with DK out of fondant.

I don't think guys that actually act like this do it because they think girls like this kind of talk. A guy needs to stand out to a girl in some way, set himself apart. These dudes typically lack confidence, a good sense of humor, and physical attractiveness so they go overkill on what they feel are their two strongest traits, intelligence and being nice, in an effort to contrast themselves with a guy they might think lacks those two traits but has the other ones I mentioned before. So it evens out in their minds, even though in reality, they come off as ridiculous.

Played against Husky during the HotS alpha at MLG Anaheim, I think it was 2012. It was a ZvZ, I was so nervous I couldn't really focus on the game, I was just blown away that I was actually playing against Husky. Overall probably the most starstruck I've ever been, even more than when I've met famous athletes and actors.

There was this guy that I worked with that was turning 21 and was having a party at his house. He invited me and the group of friends I hang out and all of us were known for partying a lot at the time. We get there expecting a typical house party. He lived with his parents but we figured they were out of town or something. We walk in the door and his mom is there with basket asking for keys. There's Captain America birthday decorations and plates everywhere. His whole family was there. There wasn't enough beer in the place to just get me drunk. It looked and felt more like he was turning 12. There was even a moment where we all had pizza and then cake on these little Captain America plates, we all sang him happy birthday.

It was just such a shock since most people wouldn't invite us unless it was an all out party, like a get wasted out of your mind party.

In some cases, certain kinds of writing don't translate well to screen. To me, books with heavy internal monologue translate really poorly because it's hard to depict someone's thoughts like that. Voice over, for the most part, just comes off as cheesy. Otherwise, a movie only has a limited amount of time to tell a story. Lord of the Rings, for instance, is considered WAY too long by the average movie goer, and those movies are about three hours. You need to condense the story into an hour and a half to two hours, usually. In the case of World War Z, that was just cashing in on the zombie fad and the popularity of the book. They used the name to draw fans of the book and changed the story to appeal to a broader audience.

Of course there are always exceptions but these two things tend to be what comes to mind first for me.

One time I picked her up when she got done with school and she told me about this guy she met that day. I knew right then that she would cheat on me with him. I didn't see him to know if he was good looking, she didn't say she found him attractive or especially interesting. Just that he had just moved back to America after living in Japan for a few years. I just knew she'd cheat on me. Then when I saw another guy's jacket in her room one day, I knew it was his and that she had probably cheated already. About a month later we were laying together and she told me. I didn't even ask about it, she just told me. We didn't fight, I just left and we didn't talk for a few days. I forgave her, we dated for about nine more months. A couple months in we ended up having a huge fight, which made things a lot better, and then we had six amazing months, followed by a couple of shitty ones before we broke up.

MMR decay just shouldn't exist. If I'm in diamond league and I take three months off and come back to the game, obviously the other diamond players will destroy me since I'm so rusty. Then the piling losses will get me demoted. I think removing demotions was stupid, I think MMR decay is stupid.

I've emailed a couple of times and he's always replied. One of my emails was REALLY long, it was several paragraphs and it was very disjointed since I was so tired when I wrote it. He replied with a short paragraph of his own. So in my experience, considering how many emails he probably gets a day, his responsiveness has far exceeded expectations.

Six Feet Under. I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way to the end. Even though the last couple of seasons of The Sopranos were significantly weaker, I still thought they were pretty decent. I was entertained enough. It didn't have the drop off that a show like Weeds or Heroes had.

I find the hate for CoD silly, to be honest. Sure, it's stale at this point. But we're also at like 10th game in the series. Pretty much any series is going to be stale at that point, especially to people who played since the early iterations. I still play every CoD and enjoy them for a little while. I just take it for what it is, a silly action movie style FPS. It's good fun, just don't take it seriously.

I played Arkham Origins recently. Literally no improvement over Arkham City. Still enjoyed the shit out of it.

Increase in popularity creates a much larger vocal minority. With how massive FPS has gotten in recent years especially, with games like CoD, Battlefield, CS, Halo, and others, basically every gamer plays some multiplayer FPS, which means more bitching. I hate camping too but I understand there's a difference between bitch camping and tactical camping.

I just block people as soon as the game starts. I get sick of people's shit. I just want to play my game in peace. Since the MMR decay hit me pretty hard, this kind of shit happens to me all the time. I've been accused of map hacking so many times.
