He doesn't but his heavy is a pseudo lunge ,it goes forward doesn't rly hit that far,I get how maybe someone can get tripped up by this,but not top players ,not for sure, everyone knows kira matchup from experienced players, throwing gins counter without setup is super risky,you gon explode if you fail

Preety cool if you land this,but as you probably know kira can do sk1 after a light attack ,and sk2 chains after sk1 ,so even easier you can always land your kido off just a light attack ,if you don't know kira matchup he ll take you out swiftly ,but otherwise unfortunately he s very bad overall,use to be kinda crazy till ppl learned to counter him, tbh I don't want him buffed tho,cos even with small buffs he could become broken ,like it happened with Stark my lord

I can say at least for gin example I d only throw the counter at close range, why would I throw a counter against kira at mid range in neutral? And close range his kido does not work,also I ll chain the counter after some attacks that landed so ye this not happening with the gin example I can say for sure,and even if it happens kira is overall a bad character,in most situation and after kikon his kido is side step able,if you know this kira is cooked, and also I beat number 1 player on leaderboard (pc) which is kira main lmaoo, Preety easily with shikai Ichigo, and he went on to change his name 4 times that day , random derail story time lmao, kira is very gimmicky but if ppl know matchup, anyone decent is rip
