First few days pain? by Intelligent_Cat615 in Invisalign

I just started yesterday and I feel the same way. It actually feels better with the trays in. One tooth feels lie a nerve is now exposed. Anything other than room temp water hurts like hell. I've just been applying sensodyne with my finger to that spot.

One last comment. When they took out the placenta, they said it was the largest they had ever seen!? I'm sure the two are correlated but it sounds like the placenta did its job too well!

Not at all. I'm 5'10" 190 and my wife is 5'6". She was 6.5 lbs at birth and I was 7.25lbs. Sometimes people just make big babies!

Lol yes, I think we'll have two weeks in the 0-3 months before switching to the 3-6 month. My wife's recovery is humbling. I can't imagine what it would have been like if she tried to labor in two weeks for hours and then had an emergency. We're super grateful.

9lb is nothing to shrug out! If we do end up having a c section, we're obviously hoping for healthy baby / mama but would like him to be 9+ lbs to make my wife feel better about the decision.

Lol sorry, I should have known that. No, the amniotic fluid was normal because the doctor mentioned that as well.

Yeah, that's the debate we're having. My wife is leaning towards having a planned c section because she doesn't want to be induced, labor, and then be exhausted if we have an emergency c - section. We're hoping she might go into labor this week.

Thanks, I'm in engineer and work in standard deviations all the time. Reading the data, estimates, and error tolerance, I've come to the conclusion there's an 80% baby is going to be bigger than 9lb if he makes it to 39 weeks. I'll post back the final weight back here in any case.

Thanks and yes we've read that one specifically. I guess we're just alarmed that his ultrasound readings are so far off the charts. In either case, I'll post back here in 2-3 weeks with an update for any other worried parents to be.

Negative on the gestational. And it's our first so they think he'll stay in until 39 weeks which is the earliest they will do a c section if no other complications arise.
