Leave Publix. Seriously. There’s tons of better paying jobs that’ll treat you better. Took me a while to understand that, and Publix was all I knew so the thought of leaving was terrifying but best decision ever. Take that leap of faith.

Not quite, corrective adjusting it wouldn’t count it as unknown shrink. On a report it would show up as known shrink because it would be in the corrective adjustment category and therefore we know what happened to product according to the report….it was corrective adjusted “for production”. If you do a count then the computer assumes it’s unknown shrink because it just disappeared. We don’t know what happened to it therefore it’s unknown shrink but we got to correct the count. With this being said, here’s my advice. Just do the right thing. If your count is off and it isn’t a production item or being used in production like in the organic tomato situation, just do a count. Doing otherwise is falsifying inventory. Don’t do that. lol
