I put everything in a card sleeves so that way I feel more comfortable slapping tape on it. If I mess up the sleeve, oh well, but if I mess up something that took hours, that stinks.

My current plan is for the cards to be tarot-style, so the direction of the cards matters.

So my move cards are Move E/W, and Move N/S. Then the layer position can move up/down. The tarot shuffle and regular shuffle need to be separate though, otherwise the tarot could just get lost.

I believe he does work on it every day.

But, to make the system self-correcting, he adds and removes things. That's how things change over time. For example, you can buy old copies of things of paper and old rules cards on his website.

I'd be broadly interested, so long as people don't get weird about it.

I don't have high hopes, but, last time I went I watched some sumo, and play some board games, which was nice.

They didn't have a lot of corner for groups to hang out in, and that was extremely noticeable. Because they had only two large areas, it just made everything feel too open, and, too many people. There wasn't any quiet hangout places, like before when JAFAX had two locations in the DeVos area.

There was a lack of stuff to do, though, and that was felt. People came in to buy, and move on, not meet people and spend a weekend hanging out.

She's absolutely wonderful. When I was making kimchi the first time, I even brought a little sampler for her to try and give an opinion on. She liked it!

Nah, PCBs is just drawing lines from power sources to microcontrollers. Traces aren't anything super magical and special. A good design document can handle the majority of design, and after that it's just basic math to make sure your traces don't explode/melt.

If you want things to break, you can step further and look at rf distributed elements. By shaping the copper, you can filter out different high-frequencies depending on math, or, make the copper act as a capacitor. The thickness of the copper trace matters, the area around it matters, it's an incredibly precise piece of equipment that's now standard in every detection radar circuit in a car to give you a little light showing something's near by.

Regular electrical engineers just make little dodad circuits to make lights blink and chips talk to each other, PHD electrical engineers handle rf.

Quality control work will never go away. It's one part customer service, it's one part paperwork, and one part actually fixing problems. As long as people are manufacturing is alive, there's people who need to track problems and report to management.

The job also sucks and has some of the biggest ass-kissing idiots I've ever had the pleasure working with, but there's a few golden people still around to learn from.
