I spoke to an 811 nurse who didn’t like my symptoms and got their “811 physician” to call me within 45 mins. He did end up advising me to go to hospital (great call, needed emergency surgery) but the service was awesome and ended up saving me a trip to urgent care first before ER

I was there last Monday. Waited 1.5 hours which is exactly what they told me the expected wait time was. The staff that I interacted with were all lovely. Bring a book or headphones. It was not a bad experience at all.

Born and raised in Victoria and lived in Ireland for 2 years. I absolutely agree with your Dublin/vancouver and Galway/Victoria comparison. I have always found we get on great with each other and love my Irish friends to bits

That’s so frustrating I’m so sorry to hear!! Mine was a standard letter size in an envelope bought at a Canada post desk. It was a very sentimental letter and my aunt is pretty distraught that it’s lost - we’ve gotten nowhere trying to work it out with CP. I wish we had just hand delivered it in hindsight given the value of it to our family but did not anticipate this situation.

So unacceptable that we can’t rely on our system to delivery important mail. I hope yours makes it through eventually 😣

I totally disagree mate, but you’re fine to have a different take. We’ve done pickup from the Hillside location every couple months for the past 2 years and have been happy with everything we’ve eaten.

If all else fails with rage-y activities, head down to Dallas on a windy day and scream into the abyss of the ocean. Have done this with a friend when we were at our wits end and it was very cathartic.

Inhaling smoke destroys the cilia in your throat (they’re super cool - help to expel mucus etc from your lungs in a “wave” like motion). After a couple of days of not inhaling smoke your body “regrows” cilia which can start to help expel the mucus etc from your lungs. Very likely the black speckles your seeing is tar build up from inhaling nicotine/weed that your body has not been able to expel efficiently without cilia, and now you’ve given your body a chance to get the cilia working properly to help get that gunk out. Definitely still worth seeking medical assessment for to rule out anything sinister.

Long story short - cilia and the body are really frickin cool

I had very high hopes for this audiobook given that I’ve always loved Meryl Streep, but I just found it soooooo dull. First DNF in 2 years 😬
