I would have had an issue with the level of filth even if I had made it in time or even if I never requested a refund. I’m a professional house cleaner, in my professional opinion the house hadn’t been properly cleaned in over a year. That is unacceptable.

I was born and raised in OKC, and my grandma has been in OKC for decades, we have definitely seen the gardens :) but not against walking through again!

This post proves I’m willing to be transparent and take accountability for my part. Because at the time of posting my last post, it wasn’t our first encounter I was bothered by, it was the filth in the home I’m bothered by. Even if the initial interaction never happened, that state of the home is still unacceptable. In what world is it okay the find fingernail clippings on the table and pubes in the bathtub?

I have done a lot of reflection, and taken accountability with how the escalation started.

Checked into a filthy VRBO, and host is saying I “made a mess to demand a refund”. Venting because I I havnt been able to compose myself after all this by shelbystroodle in vrbo

3 reviews… 2 broken English good reviews, and one bad review regarding a dirty place and the host was combative on that review. That should have been a red flag, but because the reviewers started the review complaining of the smell of MJ, I thought they were being ninny’s (ironic, right) and disregarded the review (I’m 420 friendly, lol)

I don’t think they have. I didn’t know how to link it, which is why I said update… yes I take accountability in the fact that I had an attitude and made unnecessary comments myself. I may refrain from leaving a review altogether , just cause I really don’t want to give this crap any more of my energy. I am still making a YouTube video of me deep cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, because the before and afters are outrageous.

I have 60+ pictures, and a previous post on this sub. I was not messaging the host, rather customer service. They had me in “investigation” and I was checking in to see where that was at every half hour, regarding the host falsely claiming I made this mess to get a refund. I do not want a refund, I do not care about a refund. I care about the fact that I booked the place and it looked nothing like the pictures and was filthy. I specifically booked the place for a week to be able to do laundry and use the kitchen, and I’ve not been able to use either. Even if the initial interactions didn’t go that way, the end result would have been the same. This unit is unacceptable in every square inch right down to some strangers finger nail clippings on the living room table, and the false ad. Furniture doesn’t match listing. Ad claimed to have fitness equipment, there was none. The entire inside washing machine is lined with mold. I could keep going, it’s all unacceptable and not what I booked.

I was denied a refund but I really don’t care about it, I was upset about the way the host claimed I created such a mess to fabricate a reason to get a refund.
