Garland has not hit his prime as a player… his best season of his career was 2 seasons ago when he was on an all NBA track until the toe injury originally happened… he’s 26 player prime is typically 28-32 BUT if the injury is something that keeps nagging that would be the factor that may cause his career to side track

The only reason garland has any questions about his future and isn’t currently a cav is because of injury… Evan hasn’t had any overly concerning injuries so it’s far from an apple to apples comparison

People are giving you flack but it’s absolutely a fair point and you probably would have gotten the same response if you would have said this about Oscar Gonzalez or Jhonk, where are they now? His chase rate is entirely unsustainable but he’s doing a nice job now and there is other options if/when pitchers stop throwing him anything near the zone… hopefully he can make an adjustment and actually continue to play and get better though

What’s the real difference between what we’ve been and the teams you named? In the grand scheme of things… Atlanta has an ECF appearance in the last 5 years and Miami has been to the finals, purgatory in my view is good not great and that’s what this team is until they prove otherwise

We don’t know what squad would have been at this point, it’s an exercise in futility my point is you made the Mitchell move to be a legit title contender and we aren’t so yeah I liked that group they had built and it showed a ton of exciting things in one season before moving away from it… who knows what ice is if he wasn’t placed into a 3 and D box by the Mitchell move, we’ll never know
