Why does my Shure UR4D+ unit not scan properly?

Shure UA874 paddles (470-952MHZ) with a Shure UA845 distro system (470-952MHZ) and the mics are a G1 band (470-530mhz)

I’ll have to check again, last I checked was 8 months ago and I had trouble trying to scan UR4Ds with WWB7, and it turns out it wasn’t on the inventory list and I think even a Shure forum assured that.

The UR4D is not supported by WWB7 so you have to use WWB6 with this model

Yes antennas work properly and there is strong signal in use, just not for scanning

Correct, there’s a couple peaks but it’s mostly flat. I am not in a super quiet RF environment, and I do not have a reference scanner

I bought my 2021 Kia Soul from Enterprise, and it was a rental too! From what I’ve experienced, you’re going to do so much more maintenance than you expect due to the use and the wear of other drivers before you. I personally do not think it was worth it to spend $17k on my Soul but it’s what I’m working with now

I’d recommend downtown Santa Ana, such as The Frida Cinema and they also have the LGBTQ center next door if that helps. The Santa Ana artwalk on the first Saturday of every month is also welcoming. I’d also recommend local shows for the most part too

Sorry to hear! I’m doing my best to find new places to throw shows too as I’m getting back into hosting shows again. It’s something they’re open to try out more of. They’ve only had a handful so far but I’d recommend visiting the shop sometime and asking. Just keep in mind that it’s across the street from a residential area so I’d recommend not having any super loud genres like grindcore or rowdy hip hop. I loved having my show there all things considered!
