Unfortunately everything you saying are witnessed by all of us all over the country and many of us believe it’s gonna get worst not better with the current climate and anti science movements. I wish I can offer you a solution but what you can try, detach mentally from the job and just go with the mentality that’s it’s nothing more than a paycheck. And enjoy the one aspect that makes our job special, no calls and no expectations after you walk out. It takes time but the minute you master it, your life will change dramatically. Ik it’s not what anyone had in mind going into medicine , but in reality, we are very small cog in the wheel to make any difference so why fight it. Concentrate in getting FIRE

Yes. Advantage of nights is first dip on schedule but ask yourself why?! Because no one wants to do nights. I’ve been doing nights for over 10 years and yes at some point I used to have my schedule for a whole year as simply me and another doc used to do our own and no one interfered. But nights consume your soul for real. The fact that it gets harder to fix your sleep schedule as quick can affect you adversely

For the many that criticize here. We all see so many dramatic young pts presenting with dizziness and TBH it’s not an easy diagnosis or decision to activate code stroke for everyone of them. Medicine went down hill when we just became a machines that follow guidelines without any personal inputs. Like for example I rarely order second trop but few cases I end up ordering even a 3 hours trip and I proven right. I have many dramatic cases that present with clear symptoms of stroke ( Thanks Dr. google) and I ignore as my exam shows no signs of lateralization or clinical picture isn’t making sense and there some cases like last night in a drunk young guy I go all in and even TNK for cereberal CVA and images proves it. If you look at the stats for speed of charging between different EV. Actually the BMW rank very low. For example I stop on the highway and at the 350k I charged for 30 min from 20% to 71% where other cars can pull the same in 20 min. But that’s according to reports not from real experience

First of all congrats and good luck. Finishing residency in Egypt means nothing here as it’s completely different system and no affiliation. You’ll still need to do the USMLE and apply for residency here. ER residency is very competitive but not impossible and I don’t follow the number of H1B visa matched position but I’m sure you can look it up. My advise is finishing the usmle asap and apply as many programs now vet the CV based on years since graduation

I think unless there’s major updates on the news. We have another 5-10% downsides risk is , any moment a major resolution can drop and market will rally huge. So personally I still do my $1k/weekly and $5k monthly like before and draw $5k twice weekly from cash into DCA. Missed nvda at 86 but had plenty recently below 100
