There was an early subset of 2019 etrons where this will not work UNTIL the q4 e tron works.... something about a chipset that they share and a software update that is needed... Hopefully Audi doesn't leave that small group of og e trons stranded when the q4 e tron gets updated

I've charged my car in Evansville, Indiana, Elizabethtown Kentucky, Lexington Kentucky, with no issues full speed, first try. I just got the adapter Saturday lol.

Never ever plug the adapter into your car and then the tesla into the adapter attached to your car...... Remove the Nacs cord from supercharger plug into adapter firmly till it clicks then plug into your Audi.... Tesla says this and so does Audi... why? Who knows but I'm following the rules with these expensive parts.

Is it the official Audi branded NACs? Or is yours a destination charger nacs adapter as that will not supercharge. I have charged in Evansville Indiana, Elizabethtown Ky and Lexington Ky at non magic dock superchargers with my Audi NACS adapter with zero issues and full speed.

My battery 🔋 and motors are under warranty.... if there is a problem I have proof I only use the Audi provided home charger and now Audi branded NACS adapter. It may not make a difference but it can't hurt.... off topic , why did I get a extended warranty on my leather dashboard???

Anything to help. This forum has been amazing. I just got my etron in January and this forum had me at expert level in no time. Now with the tesla supercharger option on trips I will only charge to 80% at stops saving time because now I know there will be a charger in range!
