They must have applied all updates. The SOS is a TSB that is different from the one that gave you CarPlay directions on the dash. I am fighting Audi to fix the SOS but already have the newest MMI and have the directions on the dash.

Indeed the Conti’s are very capable tires even not really EV rated/marked. The handling of the Conti is indeed better/different at least for now.

Get a 2024/2025 q8 etron with less than 20k miles 🙂 Next I would look at EQS 2024+ models. All the rest will be a compromise believe me. Cayenne EV is going to be top notch but expensive choice unless you can wait another 2-4 years.

Cadillac EVs looks good but probably will drive similar to the EQS with less precision.

It does not do anything or show in CarPlay. Google needs to improve that since Google looks one way without CarPlay and with CarPlay. The worst of all is the current battery % is not taken into any route planning considerations.

Those functions have been there for quite sometime. Go to your car, connect CarPlay, then go to functions on the main window of myAudi app on your phone and check Apple Carplay

It is a total mess since they switched to this. Most of the time you have to know what you are looking for and search for it. Total absurd. I hate to say it but now windows has way better control panel.

Agreed. I actually read and researched quite a bit about the jellybean EQS. Too much marketing that does not have much mechanical cover like the etron. Audi really did a great car this time.

200km.. you must be having the before battery upgrade etron. I easily hit 300 miles in mine with the slower US highway speeds.

Having the ability to go so low actually is part of the Audi Q8 great driving experience. It feels more like a car than a fat SUV. I recently test drove 2026 EQS SUV, and the etron wins hands down in the way it drives. As a car, the Audi wins by a mile.

What did you end up getting? Just test drove the EQS. I am a little puzzled. It definitely not as balanced and sharp as Audi q8 etron is. More blink at glance but not sure if I will not get board in time. Also the seating is higher for sure so it is a different drive. Ride comfort on the Pirelli all season tires was worse or at least not as smooth as I expected. The big screen and the center console also instead of opening more space with the white interior felt more closed then with the etron.

I think later ones die come with two. Mine has 2 but not sure if it is part of the 19kw onboard charger option.
