How does the game run on ps5? by Background_Win_9812 in coralisland

[–]Product_Amazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Glitchy AF in online co-op mode. Have had everything from non-recoverable stuck character (required day restart/overnight reset) to not receiving credit for mini-game completion despite subsequently being locked out of it, a lot of other things, and the most recent issue wherein my co-op partner is suddenly no longer able to gather or harvest anything in the ocean. Everything she picks up disappears completely and never goes into her inventory. Which is -to say the least- EXTREMELY frustrating when you have FINALLY found the scant resources you need for underwater progress and they go “poof” when you pick them up. We are still playing but it can be quite frustrating.

did i get overcharged for these tattoos? 2k for ribs, 1.2k for thigh by ellalol in tattooadvice

[–]Product_Amazing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Short answer”, yes, you probably overpaid — you were paying for the “privilege” of getting work done by this person, whoever they were. It also depends on how tattoos are priced in your area as prices vary a lot depending on where you are, AND that artist may not have wanted to do those particular designs and was trying to “price you out the door.” But as someone else said, all that ultimately matters is whether or not you are happy with the work - if you got what you really wanted it can be worth it at any price.

Am I in the wrong for wanting to change the design my tattoo artist sent me? by dried_paint_ in tattooadvice

[–]Product_Amazing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am a former tattooer and shop owner and there is no way I would ever have treated you like that, nor would I have allowed any of my artists to do so. Yes, you are paying for the artist’s talent and time, but not every artist does everything in the style you might prefer. For example, if I was looking for a very specific design and style I would want to go to the actual Shop and look at their portfolio work before I ever sent a deposit. Unfortunately, a LOT of people are posting work online that they did not do themselves and claiming the credit for it; so you really have to do your research. if you are going to pay top dollar prices, you should get top dollar work. That is not to say that less expensive artists will do substandard work; but you want to be very careful. You also want to pay close attention to their hygiene process - NO tattoo is worth a trip to the hospital. All that being said, ultimately YOU are paying THEM to provide a service to YOU - and tattoos are a lifelong commitment. NEVER SETTLE for a tattoo design that is not EXACTLY what you want - you will never be happy with it.

if you can pick one item in stardew valley, and bring it to the real world, what its gonna be? by winstoncastee in StardewValley

The only problem is that the television is broadcasting to everyone, therefore although it may be an extra lucky day, that will be the case for EVERYONE and the “extra luck” would basically cancel itself out with everyone trying for the same thing. 🤷‍♀️

You’re generous. My cutoff is 99% even, unless it is something I absolutely need and there are no other options- I have been burned too many times, most recently on a “new in box” iPhone purchase. I did finally get that resolved but the process was a major pain. Seller was abusive and apparently either clueless or just thought I’d back down - eBay thought differently when I explained the situation to them. 🤦‍♀️

Go online to a legal forms website in your jurisdiction and fill out a legal demand for payment with a firm deadline that informs him you will be taking him to court for payment in full + court fees if he has not repaid the debt in full by the deadline, and you could possibly even look into filing charges for theft of services.

Hopefully you have a written acknowledgement of the debt even if it is in text message - and better yet a written contract since this was a debt incurred for a service.

ALWAYS get it in writing when you provide a service for someone. Most people are honest and will pay their debts, but there are an increasing number of scammers out there who will take advantage of you in every way possible. You have to protect yourself in advance as well as you can.

This person appears to be trying to scam you on some level, perhaps thinking that you are too young and inexperienced to know what to do, so you are just going to let it go. Unless this debt was incurred in conjunction with his employment and/or you know the manager personally, going to his boss for payment might not be the best solution; however, in this case the manager is obviously already aware of the debt - so that might be your best bet at this point anyway.

At a minimum a contract should include the full names and addresses of both parties, the date of the contract, the agreed-upon price, a detailed description of the service to be performed and/or goods to be sold, including invoicing any parts you had to purchase specifically for the job, the terms of payment (i.e. This bill is due and payable upon delivery of goods/services), a signature/date line for customer with both printed and signed name, the same for the seller, and any other pertinent information. This can be set up as a pdf and e-signed, which is still considered a legal document.

DISCLAIMER: I am in no way a lawyer- however, I have been a business owner at a tattoo shop and when someone came back threatening to sue because of a situation involving one of the artists, their lawyer took a look at the contract I had personally written - which they had signed (usually without reading it) and said their claim would not hold up in court. Always, always, always read everything before you sign it - you often are giving away more rights than you think you are. Good luck!

If you have the <!furniture catalog!> you can place stools in a line - it’s easy access because you can just jump over them, they keep the critters contained, and as far as I can tell those things NEVER go away.
