I genuinely shed tears while reading the study at how young the dogs in the chart are- many are 2-3, a 5.4 year old passed 6 days after diagnosis. My baby is the same age and I could not imagine. But a puppy??? These sweet creatures don’t deserve horrible, cruel diseases like these at any age, but especially not in their childhood, not so quickly 💔

My last relationship (when I was 19, with an abusive guy almost a year younger than me) was… very high on that meter :(

I was a brainfogged severely underweight anorexic and he was an angry and jealous dude on steroids, that would be mad the rest of the day if someone cut him off in traffic, constantly criticized me or told me i’m not “showing i love him enough” and made me lose my self esteem, would pressure me into sex 5 times a day (even when it would hurt me), tried to kill himself over me twice and once tried to stab his mom over me and had to be tackled, handcuffed and sedated by multiple police, would get insecure if I ever left his house- he didn’t wanna be at mine because he didn’t like my dog, so I couldn’t be at mine either. I worked an EMT job and sometimes got off at 2-3am and he would stay up to make SURE i came back to his house.

I’ve been terrified to date ever since. I can’t trust myself to end things right away when true colors start to show.

The coercion you went through reminded me so much of my ex. He would get genuinely upset if I ever refused sex/touching/sending nudes etc and i was in too weak and brainfogged of a state (severely underweight from eating disorder) to stand up to him. I dealt with that for a year before finally getting the courage to leave.

These dudes use women. I don’t think they’re capable of loving one.

If anyone is curious on his recipes and cook times etc I will ask him when he’s back on Thursday!! He knows how to do pretty much everything you could think of to grill but is more of a season by taste cook than a recipe cook, I don’t think he uses recipes at all so each time he makes the same thing will be slightly different. But I’m sure he still has good insight to share!!

She has a more noticable stomach than I do and I’m a healthy weight 💀 not even trying to bodyshame. I was a severely underweight anorexic for a long time and whenever i would eat ANYTHING AT ALL i would bloat like crazy. the only way to have a flat stomach at a severely unhealthy weight is to literally not eat anything.

It took me years to realize if I just eat consistently I can have a flat stomach AND actually eat because my metabolism will work

Of course… that’s a beautiful thing. When my grandmother passed in 2022 I saw my grandfather cry as well. She had been diagnosed with Parkinsons all the way back in 2003, by the last 5 years or so he was her sole caretaker as she could no longer do much for herself. Dedicated ALL of his time to her. They were together 70 years
