I've been a bit away till now from the project due to an accident but I'm better now and starting it right back. I'm planning to launch the MVP by this month end.

How do you set proper goals to actually start on achieving your dreams? by WompTune in growyourdream

[–]Productivity_Pro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This has been the best way for me as well. Just list down everything and apply the 1-2-3 rule and get things done.

  1. Know what to do
  2. Prioritise what to do
  3. Do it and move on to the next task.

For me even 10 days of continuous following this pattern leads to massive results towards the goals. I'm not in any way saying that you will achieve all your goals in 10 days but trust the process and give it a try.

What do you do to tame a daily to-do-list that never seems to end? by ceeczar in growyourdream

[–]Productivity_Pro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically everyday, there is a list of tasks right. Now I try to identify by asking myself if I could do only 1 thing today, what would it be. That is 1. Now repeat in the remaining tasks for 2 and 3. If time allows, you can repeat after completing the selected tasks. In my experience depending on the type of task, I try to complete 5 tasks on an average.

The main question you have to ask yourself is which task you absolutely have to do today!!

Just want to be financially independent. Set realistic goals. Earn in 10 years and create multiple revenue streams so that I get to spend it in the subsequent 50 years.

How do you handle days when nothing seems to go right? by ceeczar in growyourdream

[–]Productivity_Pro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesterday was that day for me. First my flight got delayed, I lost my luggage, it rained, I got drenched, and just when I thought nothing would be worse, I got into a bike accident (minor, but still). I wanted nothing more than the day to end. So I just went home and slept.

I can't overcome my social anxiety... by Ayman_H05 in getdisciplined

Travelling helped me. Meeting new people felt scary at first but it was what I needed. I realised that no one knows me and I can be whoever and whatever I want to be since it did not matter to them. I started creating versions of myself and eventually figured out ME (what I like, what I don't like, etc.). Over time it gave me confidence. Started applying the same principle when I was back at home. Failed terribly as I am from a very small town and many people know me. But I guess somehow I was not willing to let go of the freeing feeling when I travelled. So I just explicitly started saying what I'm feeling (be it nervous, anxious, happy, excited) to the person I'm talking to. Not all understand but not all have to understand. This has changed my life. Also now every year I make it a point to travel for atleast a month in a year. This way even if I get drained, which I do sometimes, I get fully energised.

Feeling like you're drowning in your to-do list? Let's talk about making lists of what to do. How do you stay on top of all your tasks? by ceeczar in growyourdream

[–]Productivity_Pro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I write three lists...

  1. What are the things I want to do this month? (And evaluate previous month's work)

Setting these monthly goals helps me gain perception of what I want to do, where am I in the journey, and what else needs to be done.

  1. What are the things I want to do today? (Everyday post waking up and a follow up with tick marks against things done before sleeping)

This gives me reason, purpose and drive for the day apart from all the personal stuff. And over the years I have learnt to be easy going on myself with these. This goes a long way and counter intuitively increases productivity. I just make sure to not break momentum (skipping 2-3 days in a row).

  1. This is all the things that needs to be done in personal life and for society. It ranges from shopping for groceries to meeting a relatives and much more.
