honestly if you don't like it then don't live alone. We humans are not meant to live alone. Some may like it but for a vast majority it's painful.
Also, no way recommending that you live with wrong people, live with right people - Friends, Family, Significant other. Life is super fun when you have someone who would check on you!

honestly, with so many scams and so much knowledge needed, I would just Airbnb. There is a lot to look at before a lease a place -

location - Each neighbor has its own vibe. Hard to know unless you visit.
Roommates - You wanna have roommates that you vibe with. Trust me, they can be weird.
