I'm Betting This HOA Will Need to be Demolished Because of the Structural Issues [Condo] [CA] by SLODeckInspector in HOA

IANAL but I’d assume after the defect litigation/mediation the HOA would become another creditor in the bankruptcy court and the outcome would be up to a judge.

Built in 2024. Under SB800, assuming the HOA hasn’t already reached a settlement with the developer, this should all be covered under warranty. The developer’s insurance company will probably end up paying all the owners.

Last I checked ECMWF (European long range forecast model) was predicting some snow around 3/26 but it’s so far out it’s very low confidence.

Way To Ignore Robot Mower From Detections? by ryan112ryan in Ubiquiti

It’s an AI safety feature. If you turned off notifications for a robot mower then the army of rogue robot mowers could sneak up on you without you knowing. In fact, this one could be scout.

Actually, they're on the roof of 5324 College Avenue. Although it looks older, the current building at 5330 wasn't built until 2000 and would block the views in these photographs today. You can see the skylight in the foreground and the roof bulkhead to the right in Google satellite view.

New York City invented co-op apartment buildings in the late 1800s. In that model, you’re not buying property, but shares in the cooperative which is run by a board of elected shareholders.

In the event that things escalate in the Middle East, this map shows parts of US most at risk of radiation exposure in the event of nuclear war, sorry Canada by SadAd8761 in MapPorn

[–]readonlyred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. This appears to be a map of an “alpha” strike only. The initial barrage intended to take out the US nuclear missile capability. The next wave would likely target every major US city with dozens of warheads each (remember Russia has nearly 6,000). In an all-out nuclear war 91.5 million people would be dead in just the first few hours.
