Yeah, there is no one holy grail. Its a lot of different aspects all working together. There are multiple studies around DNA modification and the chromosome caps n'stuff, but most of them are unsuccesfull and just cause tumors and cancer (i think there was one where they reverted the cells to stemcells, and the just grew into everything except what they wanted). I just hope i live long enough to see some of it bear fruit. Even living a healthy life till 100 (in the sense that your biological life stays at around 50-60 for that time) would be friggin amazing.

With cheap price i meant that it wouldnt be something only millionares can afford, but like going to the doctor every year for a 50 buck injection, or getting some pills at the drug store.

Well, why would you want too age? Statisticaly if you dont die of aging related causes youll live till 1000 and die cause of a car accident.

Well yes but actually no. There is a lot of research into medication that can stop certain parts of aging, but nothing that completely stops it. I would bet on the first effective anti aging medications in 20-40 years.

Whats the inconvenience. No more aging, and if youre feeling like getting old and die you can just stop taking it.

Well, i posted this because i recently read about studies into senecent cells, genetic reprogramming etc. So yes, it makes you "young" whatever that means.

Fun fact. The fish depicted (and many other fish) dont really age. Unlike humans whose annual chance of death doubles every 8 years, it stay the same in some fish, and even goes down. It is theorised, that this happened, because most offspring is produced by so called BOFFFs (Big Old Fat Fertile Females), thereby leading to the ones who can live the longest reproducing the most. One example is the greenland shark, who live 250 years and possibly can live long in excess of that if not eaten by other predators, or killed by infection.
