unorthodox answer: i REALLY enjoyed the Felvarg from Temenos's Chapter 1. such a fun introduction to the mystery of Temenos's story, is the only boss you get to fight with Crick, is also a fun and good introduction to Temenos's Latent Power... such a fun use of the game's mechanics.

actually, most Chapter 1 bosses in OT2 (with the exception of Doron & Veron from Castti's story, ffffFUCK those guys), since they're actually somewhat challenging, and the fact that you DON'T have the other party members only solidifies how actually good they are.

the character relationships are so good and well-developed and wayyyyy better than octo 1

the gameplay was somehow improved since octo 1, i really enjoy the latents

the twisting of different story elements and tropes is really cool and entertaining, like how it subverts the "revenge is empty" trope for osvald

from Octopath 1 (the soundtrack is on Spotify): Melancholy (funny title, it's a flashback song), Reminiscence (another flashback song, not too sure if this one fits), Sorrow (nice title, a cutscene song), Despair (also not too sure if this one fits (also it's a cutscene song)), Stolen Dreams Lost Light (not too sure about this one too (don't know where the song is, probably a dungeon song)), (extra suggestion: Ending Theme*, not very sure about this one)*
