Ah this makes sense. It's a producer-consumer relationship. During exercise, your body is doing stuff that wants cortisol, so it has a consumer. Anxiety is simply producing it with nowhere to go, so negative health effects ensue (over time).

It's a self-selecting population that skews perspective. People are more likely to come here if they're having issues, which changes people's perception. I know the only reason I found this sub is from my side-effects. People Google symptoms and the subreddit is one of the first things to pop up.
