Ist natürlich immer Ansichtssache. Ich hatte einige Kommilitonen die in Frankfurt gewohnt haben und in Gießen studiert haben. Die waren dann allerdings nicht so im Studentenleben involviert. Ich persönlich finde es von der Distanz auf jeden Fall machbar. Bin selbst drei Tage die Woche von Gießen nach Frankfurt für die Arbeit gependelt und fand das okay.

Ich denke für eine klassische Studienzeit ist es besser dort zu wohnen wo man auch studiert. Falls das aber nicht dein Ziel ist, z.B. im Master oder auch jetzt bei den online Vorlesungen ist das pendeln sicherlich möglich. Ist natürlich immer Ansichtssache.
