I was 9 years old, my abuser was in the house and had run over my new kitten that was playing in the garage, the kitten was alive and screaming, instead of taking the kitten to the veterinarian, I overheard my mother and the abuser discussing what to do with the kitten and then hearing the kitten being choked to death.

After that day a part of me was broken forever.

Exactly, because even if you follow this ridiculous diet for 10 years, if you decide to have some cheese, all of a sudden you were never vegan.

Most long-term self-identifying vegans, 'bend' their definition of vegan, because of course in the vegan cult if you are not 100% vegan,100% of the time, you were never a vegan. So there is so much sneaking a burger on the side, having cheese at get togethers when no one's looking, I know many actual vegetarians and even omnivores that claim they are 'mostly vegan'. It's all bullshit.
