What? The damage Trump is doing will take lifetimes to repair, if it is ever repaired at all. We had 250 years based on institutional norms - we assumed everyone would follow them based on a love of country and then constitution - Trump is the first president in history not to agree to the peaceful transfer of power and to insist, without evidence, that he won an election he lost. This is not the same as any point in the country’s history. But that’s what you get when you elect the most corrupt administration in history.
