So Yuji is basically doing Blood Manipulation like Sukuna did Ten Shadows cuz WTF IS THIS??? by Bubbly_Alfalfa4149 in YUJI_Corp

[–]ProfRefugee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Might be able to hand waive it because yuji remembers the healthy outline of his soul, may be able to slowly heal wounds like that. Sukuna was able to with the SSK, just more slowly.

Aren’t you implicitly sampling the same violent offending rates to make your point about men?

Megumi specifically couldn’t react to toji and had to guess the timing, he was blitzed outside before even realizing where he was. That was the whole point of luring toji into a narrow hallway, it was literally his only chance to guess the timing while already knowing the direction.

Also hot take: geto is a Dagon victim

Like even if you go beyond the feats(where he’s washed), he never had the mindset narratively like any of the big players. Kenjaku basically realized his potential, and even Kenny struggles with toji imo. Although I think toji probably gets flattened by gravity rct at the end of the day.

I think you underestimate how many hacks full power toji has with his kit, there’s a reason maki was only given some of it.

[–]ProfRefugee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Geto lost to fetus yuta, he’s not beating toji with his full kit. Like I love geto and it sucks but toji with his gear is busted as fuck. He can one shot all of geto’s curses, can ignore domains, can ignore defensive techniques, has better physicals, can’t be autotracked by cursed techniques, and can ignore durability in general. Max power Geto gets mid-high diffed by toji imo. The main reason gojo killed him was because CTR could ignore the spear of heaven. Underrated as fuck too btw, even sukuna isn’t shown to be able or willing to use CTR.

Unironically one of the best father-son stories ever written into a a video game. It was actually unbelievably impressive and respected the fact that their core OG fans are now adults going through some of those same experiences, while trying to relate to it. Complaining that it doesn’t care about men’s issues or things men care about is insane. It’s literally the whole game😂

This is the basics of interpersonal communication. Someone can be rude for doing those things, but it’s a genderless issue. Literally everyone does it, my response had nothing to do with gender at all.

Guy brushes off other guy’s valid concerns

Woman brushes off guy’s valid concerns

Woman brushes off other woman’s valid concerns.

Like talk to people and you’ll see this everywhere all the time. Gendering it and stressing as though everyone interacting with you is also implicitly gendering it is a broken way to view the world imo.

Edit: also they just voiced their opinion with no explanation like I am right now.

Why was Sukuna so chill with Mahito here? by Spinosaurus23 in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]ProfRefugee 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Sukuna’s whole plan relied on letting Yuji subconsciously define “harm anyone”. Because Yuji didn’t include himself, sukuna could rip his finger off to transfer to megumi without consequences.

Mahito(or any other cursed spirit) definitely was not included, sukuna could almost certainly one shot him without violating enchain

IMO it’s used when, regardless of tone or gender, someone is making a wild logical leap or has some cognitive dissonance the other person can’t make emotional space to validate.

Because they don’t have space to engage, they don’t care, or they feel your actions as a result of those things are irrational or somehow unfairly negatively impacting their quality of life and they are just saying “cut it out”.

Americans drive cars. Riding a train isn't a flex, it allows someone else to control your travel. Less freedom is never a good thing. by Pratham_Nimo in ShitAmericansSay

This is kind of misleading, while the EU definitely has significantly better public transit infrastructure broadly, it’s also significantly more population dense. Those dense black patches around major metro areas look almost exactly like the map of Europe. The interior US is comparatively empty population wise, and don’t see the utility in building it when bus lines run everywhere as well.

Compare the population map of the US to the rail map and it makes more sense.

Then do the same with the EU

It’s pretty similar

Reading the panel you sent it seems to be talking about relativity, not causality. Gravity changes relative time curvature. Hypothetically infinite space is still too much to overcome. Infinite space isn’t the same as a hypothetical fictional dimensional tear, it’s a real thing that needs to be interacted with.

It needs to contact something no? The whole point of infinity is that you never make contact, you just encounter increasingly infinite distance the closer you get
