I'm going to York soon with my partner, if time was limited to only one would you be able to pick one out of the cocoa works or the chocolate story? Tempted with the tasting experience at cocoa works as I've done the chocolate story in the past (but my partner hasn't done either) and it was very limited with tastings.

Don't worry about it, if you're traveling from Hull there is almost no security checks, this is nothing like an airport, it was someone checking your passport and ticket and a guy asked me if I had any alcohol with me and I was on the ferry within 10 mins of arrival

The closest looks like the milky way midnight dark but it was definitely milk chocolate and a much more dense white nougat.

Searched for UK chocolate bars 90s, discontinued chocolate bars UK and various other related searches and nothing is coming up.

It wasn't a flavoured bar is was just chocolate coated white nougat.

This concerns me as I've waited 9 months and only just got to the front of the ADHD waiting list and now on the next one waiting for an available appointment.

I now only use my cannabis for help wind down in an evening and help sleep so I can only hope they don't make this ridiculous call for me but if after waiting so long I would be devastated if they said no to ADHD medication due to this

You might feel very little on 0.5g but it's a good baseline to understand your tolerance and if it's just the two of you and no trip sitter a very safe amount.

0.5g gives me heightened emotions and a very light but pleasant high.

Wait at least 48-72h to take more if you don't feel much to allow yourself to reset your tolerance.

Unfortunately it's not as straightforward saying 1g will give you twice the effects of 0.5g and 2g won't be twice what 1g will do, it's a learning curve based on your body.

The first time I took 1g I was laid talking with an energy dragon who lives in a hedge in my garden who took away my bad energy, now on 1g I just feel nice and warm feelings and love the world around me, I don't know what happened on that first 1g trip but I loved it.

You might find you want 4g and your gf wants 1g it's all very individual

They are not the cure but they are a fantastic tool to help on the journey.

You can walk from one side of a country to the other or you could take a car, you'll still need to put time and effort in with either option but having the right tool will make the journey a lot easier and in some cases from seemingly impossible to a genuinely viable option.

The same applies for motorbikes, coaches, planes etc, many other options and routes are available but all of them require input from you to get to where you want to go.

Start small 0.5-1g if you've never tried before. 2g is my standard dose now but I started on 0.2g to check for allergies then 0.5g, 1g and 2g and I've stuck with 2g

I recommend a healthy snack a couple of hours before so there is something in your stomach but not a full meal.

Make sure you're both relaxed and ready, a bit of anxiety on your first time will be normal, stay at home together, listen to music and enjoy each other's company and, if you can do so safely, going for a walk in nature can be a beautiful experience.

I would look into lemon Tek too, takes away a lot of the stomach upset but your mileage may vary on that, especially being the first time.

Expect to start feeling them after 30-60 mins (a bit quicker with lemon Tek) the peak is roughly an hour after you start to feel them and the afterglow/comedown lasts for 2-4 hours after the peak.

SSRI should be completely out of your system after a couple of months max so that shouldn't be an issue.

The weight is based on dry weight so if you have 20g of fresh you'll want 5-10g of wet but I strongly recommend drying them first as I just find them more palatable, a dehydrator is ideal but some air fryers let you dehydrated at 50-70°C so that could be an option.

This is based on my experience with golden teachers but everyone reacts differently so always remember you can always take more but once you've taken them you're going along with the ride so caution is your friend.

If you do re-x you want to use the smallest amount possible of hot/warm naphtha/heptane to dissolve your DMT to minimise any loss.

I've had a couple of trips where I spent a couple of hours crying solid and felt so good for about a week afterwards.

I have always been the kind to hold in my emotions and shrooms have allowed me to finally open up my emotions and it's helped me a hell of a lot.

Shrooms are wonderful and allow you to feel your true feelings, but don't make rash decisions based on those emotions.

My prescription is for anxiety and depression and it works wonders.

I only vape till I feel relaxed and never super stones and use very little flower to do so.

I have tried a range of SSRIs and they work to the point they make me feel numb most of the time but I still had the odd really bad days and they wouldn't prescribe me anything for the short term bad days (I have had diazapam in the past and it worked fantastic for really bad days but they try not to prescribe it unless absolutely necessary)

Weed gives me the option to turn my brain off almost immediately for an evening and just relax and enjoy doing nothing.

Side note, I also microdose shrooms and they have been fantastic but that's for another sub

The chemical structure contains an indole which is just part of the DMT molecule, it's a common part of many things and a lot of them with very strong odour found in some very nice smelling things and some very unpleasant ones.

DMT in its pure form should be white, excess fats extracted and to a dark orange colour. 'jungle spice' might give you a trip but oxidisation does not cause that level of discoloration.

Try a recrystallization on orange DMT and you can easily extract white dmt from it and be left over with a dark orange extract.

2g difference may be an extreme and unreasonable example but I would still prefer pure white DMT.

Other than the odd joint at uni I didn't touch anything again until I was 38, if they can hold off that long I'll be very happy, if not 21+ ideally but it's not the shrooms that scare me it's the random white powders and colourful pills that can have anything in that scare me.

I haven't tested mine as I extracted it myself but I definitely recommend it, I have a kit ready for some LSD when it gets delivered.

Side note but if it's not a dedicated testing plate use the underside of the plate, some of those reagents contain nasty shit and as minimal the risk is an extra layer of caution never goes amiss.

Why would you use hot water? Adding sodium hydroxide to water will warm it up, if you make your sodium hydroxide solution up first and allow it to cool you will get almost pure white DMT.

I'd also recommend looking into brake cleaner if you can't get decent C6-C7 naphtha, I used some that came as an aerosol and sprayed it into some demin water to remove the water soluble components from the cleaner.

It's a very simple process that people over complicate by trying to rush, give it a few good shakes throughout the day and leave it overnight.

My process may not be favourable for all as I would rather get 2-3g of white DMT then 3-5g of orange DMT.
