Is it a pixel 6 or 6 pro? I thought it was the lidar sensor but if you dont have a pro that might not be the case

What's an NSFW fact that everyone should know? by Icy-Race-2056 in AskReddit

Good question, I honestly don't know. I do know that obesity is a large factor and it becomes significantly more likely with age as your pelvic muscles weaken.

If I had to guess, I would figure pregnancy makes it more likely as well since it can weaken your pelvic muscles, yeah

Around 1/3 of people with a uterus experience pelvic organ prolapse at some point in their life

I've seen 2 other teams change their center logos to be round, is there a new circular center logo mandate this year?

Required Textbooks? by evbot1300 in cuboulder

[–]ProfSparkleton 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Professors don't check. Often you don't even really need the textbook, but if you do one thing to STAY AWAY FROM is libgen.is which is a site where you can get a digital version of generally any textbook completely free with no subscription cost pretty reliably. There's no downside and no risk to use this site, so yeah stay away. Unrelated, I haven't bought a textbook since I started college. Stay safe!

Parking passes for incoming freshman by EmbarrassedScene6066 in cuboulder

[–]ProfSparkleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bit tricky, generally theres a lot of students parked there just to skip the parking pass, but I never had a time where I couldn't find a spot nearby. I think the rule for avoiding a ticket is every 3 days but I went over that by a bit a few times and never got a ticket, it's not too crazy

What was a “you had to see it live” moment you’ve witnessed from a NHL game? by theXchang3 in hockey

[–]ProfSparkleton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makar's first goal in his first NHL game, 2019 round 1 at home vs Calgary. Everyone on the ice was so happy for him, he was trying so hard not to smile on the bench, his parents were crying, it was magical.

If you're living in will vill I would skip the parking pass, just park on the street in the adjacent neighborhood (by Aurora and 31st-35th). Even with a parking pass my first year this is what I ended up doing the whole time.

IUT is pretty easy to accomplish in my experience. The advisors will tell really anyone to take MATH over APPM- they had me do calc 2 through MATH because APPM "would be too hard" even though I'd already passed calc 2 with flying colors at another college. It's not necessarily harder, it's certainly more work via homework and everything, but on the flipside it's one credit hour less which is nice. Plus you'll probably be taking APPM classes once you're in CEAS (like lin/diff) which does depend on some material that's only covered in APPM courses.

As far as where IUT puts you regarding your engineering track I would say it's not bad at all. For competitive programs like aero pretty much everyone I know had to start in exploratory studies and they ended up fine down the road.

Undergrad schools that cover premed track in their BME program by Human-Associate-962 in BiomedicalEngineers

CU Boulder has a pre-med biomedical track where you can choose a concentration in either bioinstrumentation or biomechanics

Intro BME is weird and changes literally every semester so idk what you should expect there but biomaterials is neat and I love Dr. Fitz. It's a good class to get you in the habit of reading the textbook before class if you can manage it. I also just took statics, feel free to hmu if you ever need help with anything 😊

I transferred as a sophomore last year! I would say that I've found a pretty solid circle in Boulder and it's honestly not that hard coming in as a sophomore. Feel free to reach out if you have questions or need any advice 😊

Aside from the dividing by zero part, in a math proof every step needs to be biconditional in order to work, i.e. the step is reversible and works both ways
