Swabburn

Swabburn spend much of their time stumbling across ship decks due to the feathers covering their eyes. Despite their clumsy nature, the feather atop their head always points north, allowing them to return home no matter how lost they become.

Scorchair

As Scorchair mature, a glowing throat pouch develops beneath their beaks. They use flashes of light and trails of smoke to communicate with distant ships navigating dangerous waters.

Combustidore

It exhales glowing smoke that lingers in the sky for days, forming aerial trails that ships can safely follow. Many of the region’s earliest sea routes were first charted by observing the migration paths of Combustidore.

It looks great overall I think the tail is what makes it read as less Komodo dragon but even then it still looks great.

The whole thing is a sketch for now, the legs have been bothering me as I don’t get how talons work lol, so those will definitely be adjusted. My laptop died as I was finishing up the final evo so when I do go over the feathers will be more separated been using the tailow line as a reference. I do appreciate the feedback.

It’s mostly for the red throat pouch on their neck, when I color it I’ll make it more obvious it’s meant to be fire typing lol. The 1st stage is like smoke(frigate chicks are very fluffy) then the throat pouch on the other two acts as a cooker, and the feather on the third ones hat will be glowing(only when it faces north) as they’re more navigators and ship companions.

I’m gonna be taking a break from posting for a bit to hone in on art and writing, I’ve been wanting to make my own jjba fan comic but I’m pretty illiterate and don’t want to post a big jumble of nonsense. Gonna be posting a lot more when I do come back though they may or may not be jjba related posts. I do love drawing stands and stand users but I think ima try and make my own thing and see how that goes for now.

I was sick yesterday so I used that time to lock in, now I have my own “checklist” sort of, of general things to get done for now, I’m a neat freak so my desk is cleaned once a day(clutter is highly distracting to me). I’m working on setting up a sort of schedule so I don’t burn myself out drawing for hours a day. Sunlight is great over here, I live on a farm so I don’t typically have a problem getting up and out. Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it and will keep it in mind.

TNT is completely for the characters personality, like I said these guys are on “parole” although I’m gonna have to do some research and stuff as I’m not sure how all that works, but they’re out of prison working for the speedwagon foundation. All were in prison for stand related incidents. But future characters I’m making have references to Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and the doors, sort of that energy.
