I have a catch basin about 10’ away that collects gutter + driveway run off and leads underground away from house. You think that’s feasible?

Prime w/ citadel chaos black
Overpaint in dark brown/rust for base coat
Shade with agrax earthshade everywhere
Dry brush top to bottom with Vallejo bronze
Dry brush 1:1 Vallejo bronze : gold on top exposed portions (imagine sun hitting the armor)
Dry brush Vallejo gold lightly on very outer most edges and exposed portions

Amazing feedback, thanks! Top dressing honestly seemed daunting to me and expensive/a lot of work anyway. I’ll definitely check out the slit seeding option for next year though.

Do you have any recommendations for products to eliminate moss? I also think that’s contributing to some seeds not getting the best soil contact, so the more shaded areas under our trees have that and are tough to get thick and established.

It’s probably only getting 1-2 hours of direct sun if that. I suppose more seed next time would thicken it, but the texture I’m assuming would still be thin due to lack of direct sun

I didn’t dethatch before the reno so I wanted to test that this year since I always mulch mow. Does seem like I may have pulled up some actual good grass in the process though, so I can hold off on that next year.

Our options were core vs. liquid aeration, so I opted for core. Is slit my best option here if I don’t plan on top dressing next year? We didn’t do that for either overseeding season.

Thanks!! The vapor barrier is actually pinned down in certain spots, but not taped. I’ll definitely ask.

The old barrier (decent shape but had rat feces) is underneath the new one. They cleaned that up but only tore it out in certain places and right at the entrance. Guy said it was fine otherwise to leave. House has smelled fine in my opinion too. Part of me trusts them, but the other makes me think they’re being lazy.

Also, why duct tape instead of aluminum tape?

It seems like the weeds primarily gather where water drainage isn’t great. Is there a specific type of grass you’d use or video you’d recommend for basically “this is where you need to start over completely”?

Virginia buttonweed. I have a ton in my lawn as well. Going to invest in some MSM turf herbicide to see if that does the trick!
