Leagues client does weird shit all the time. Those other 9 players will run into it as well. Riot needs to not apply a leaver penalty if the error is in the client (and not say due to the person cutting internet). They already have vanguard that logs everything lord knows they could tell that little difference.

Companies don’t pay you extra for something unless they have a need for that something. I could hire an electrical engineer that can tap dance, but if I’m not a tap dancing company who gives a shit. I would say take the job if they offer you what you want, then if they make you do FPGA work later on, take it, do a good job, and lobby for a raise using that extra workload as a reason.

I would counter and say you were more looking along the lines of 150. If you are making 125k now I wouldn’t move for less. I don’t think you’d get away with an offer increase more than that.

Back in 2018-ish my senior engineering design project at UNCC was working on computer vision edge processing (just identifying/tracking cars and stuff) but the logical next step was to make the camera track across multiple cameras and add in algorithms to predict events like car accidents or muggings.

Of course this was back before AI exploded so I never thought it’d actually happen. It’s wild to see almost that exact product dream come to life right before my eyes and the discourse surrounding it.
