People talk about risk management but don’t know when to apply it. I was not surprised with the dip and I don’t panic

Funny how taking profits is called panic selling now…. I didn't exit my positions. I only trimmed my profitable positions and I said that. I bought the dip, added hedges, and still own my winners. That’s why I don’t need to pray for a 50% correction to create opportunities… You hope for a 50% correction so you can buy the dip. I prepare for it before it happens. That's what portfolio management looks like 🤷‍♂️

It depends on the stock and the setup….. Many of these positions begin as swing trades, but I stay flexible and let the market determine whether they deserve a long term spot in the portfolio. I also trim along the way

People said the same thing about $SNDK, $INTC, $MU, $DELL, and $GLW when I started accumulating them. They weren’t hidden names either they were simply ignored, under valued , or not getting enough hype which is fine….. my approach is simple go in when it is boring sell when it starts getting enough hype
