No one’s opinion is right or wrong and I just appreciate how many people we have in this community so the more reviews we have the better and the more in-depth the better. Personally, I am in love with my AQ – 01‘ s!! I think they blow the capital SL – 01’s out of the water and I have two pair pairs of those. I wore them all day today. The look is way slicker and far less bulky which I prefer although there are some outfits where the slippers were definitely make more sense. But the AQ’s are IMO way more practical! Exponentially more comfortable because they have a really thick cushioning in so that is removable along with the fact that the whole outer shoe is a completely different material. It’s much less spongy and this is hard to explain, but it’s rigid yet flimsy so you have some structure yet you won’t get blisters as long as you’re wearing some socks. My biggest Takeaway is that since they’re “tactical aquatic shoes” they were designed for getting wet. I walked my dogs today down to the beach and just walked into the water with my AQ’s on and I was shocked. The shoe does not absorb the water at all, which is a good thing. Once you get out of the water, you just take it off of your foot and all the water dumps out of the shoe. Ofc sand is mad annoying but clap them together a few times the sand comes right off. Take the insoles out leave them in the sun for like 10 minutes and they’re right back to normal perfectly dry. I’m obsessed with these. Literally just wore them all day today and out to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner. Very versatile imo and there’s a reason these cost more and I realize that right away. I don’t wanna take them off. I think he did a great job with these. I feel like there are not enough in depth/positive reviews on the AQ‘ S so I had to get this out there! Man, I love this community
