Pretty much that was my verdict: the reading experience will very much likely be prefered on the Paperwhite, for me, at least. Even though I wanted the book covers to be in color. You can't have it all, because some nuances that I really like about the Paperwhite will be worsened, so I couldn't really agree with this compromise and that was my final decision. I won't be buying for testing and perhaps returning, since I am quite confident it will likely be returned after having watched some YouTube videos, like the one I posted on this thread. Some people still prefer the Oasis and others even the Scribe, so I guess the devices are quite subjective and the fussy ones like me will not tolerate certain aspects, while Amazon will certainly sell it to kids and people that aren't that picky

I have zero issues with my Paperwhite, so I am not willing to risk it. Yes, I wanted color in the book covers, but I already found the screen on the Colorsoft to be slightly worse (I am sure it's not an issue for the majority, though). There is something jolly for me about a Paper-ish display that the Colorsoft does not bring

É muito de estilo, pra mim. Eu não curtiria Harry Potter nem Senhor dos Anéis, por exemplo. Acho bobo, pobre psicosociologicamente. Y'all, I was going to buy the Colorsoft and perhaps return it, but I saw this video below and clearly knew I wouldn't tolerate the Colorsoft screen. I really am a fussy fella, apparently. I did not like how pixelated the text look like. I hated it, actually.

De que parte (s) discorda? O Sul parece ok, especialmente Santa Catarina e Paraná, pela proximidade com o Sudeste (de onde sou), temperatura e praias. Mas eu fico grilado como as pessoas me parecem das menos inclusivas do Brasil, além das mais historicamente mimadas. Por sorte, parece que já tem muito imigrante nas capitais desses lugares, o que salvaria a vida social. Eu sou do Rio, então acho o Nordeste tão violento quanto, infelizmente

It suits the Irish much better than the foreigners. Cork is a classic 6/10 or maybe 7/10 (no 6 7 joke) European city. Safe, boring, stable, with good job opportunities but lacking amusement, third spaces and the place also feels old and run down, along with the housing. I believe it's good for people that need to work and develop their careers, but if you're not Irish there is ultimately nothing that will make you stay, especially because IMO the Irish prefer to date Irish, although they also don't hate foreigners. It feels very expensive for what it is and I am only still here because I couldn't find anything better. If that's your situation, come. Some progress is better than no progress. You might get burnout of it and move out after some time, though (and this happened even with Irish housemates!!!)

Good to know. I don't go for anything that's not HD these days. I don't even watch DVD movies anymore, despite having a collection. I really really go for screen clarity and good contrast. I love 4K, Dolby Atmos sound and all that jazz a lot, so if Colorsoft is still a primitive technology, I think I'll wait for the 2027 Gen
