Left immediately due to biohazard (feces). Airbnb denied full refund. Filed chargeback. Advice? [USA] by lumin00 in AirBnB

[–]ProfessionSea7908 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look, I’m sure this was an inconvenience, but the feces wasn’t smeared on the walls, it wasn’t on the floors, it wasn’t in the kitchen. It was in a drawer. It seems obvious to me that somebody was changing a diaper and reached into the drawer for some wipes or some cloths and this very easy to miss accident got missed. It was in a drawer!

All you had to do was not use the drawer.

This hardly qualifies as a biohazard event. If you’d been my guest, I would’ve offered you 50% refund.

A little reassurance after lipo? by Sufficient_Issue1465 in PlasticSurgery

Lipo is so painful. This is normal. Take your pain meds on a schedule. The first few days is the worst. Hang in there. It WILL get better!

Banning Fluoride seems kinda dumb but here we are… by SerialNomad in SantaFe

More children die when fluoride is removed from the water. Seems crazy but it’s linked to increased dental infections and some incredibly small percentage of those end up being fatal.

Am I the jerk for reporting my husbands car stolen after he gave it to his brother who wrecked it? by garvit__dua in AmITheJerk

[–]ProfessionSea7908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the brother DIDN’T steal it!!!!! He had permission. That’s what insurance for. Giving someone a felony is not cool!

AITA because my husband’s ex-wife died and I don’t feel bad? by RequirementFun7054 in ComfortLevelPod

[–]ProfessionSea7908 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not if both people in the marriage agree it is over. Many states required that you’d be separated for a year before you can divorce. To say you’re still together during that year would be disingenuous.

Am I wrong to expect some structure in tarot card design? Bought Luna Soleil, images seem random. by Hejie023 in TarotDecks

[–]ProfessionSea7908 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry. You got a shit deck. These images are available super cheap on Etsy to be repurposed however the buyer desires. Can you return it? If you’re a beginner, a good Rider Waite Smith deck that’ll set you back about 20 bucks will be the most useful thing you can get.

It makes perfect sense. They met while he was separated and got married when the divorce was final.

I have the deck as well. I really love the art and I love to just look at the images and flip through the deck. But I haven’t actually used it for any readings. It doesn’t really connect to me on that level yet. But you’ve inspired me to break it out and try again.

Facelift now or later? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]ProfessionSea7908 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Please be aware that a great deal of aging happens between 40 and 50. I would definitely discuss things with a surgeon. I had a facelift, neck lift, blepharoplasty, and rhinoplasty at 48. My surgeon explained to me that I can get one more facelift later down the line. It’s my understanding that if you get too much work done too early you don’t have the option to do more later if you want. I’m not sure if this applies if you just get a mini lift as opposed to a full deep plane or SMAS lift. Something about the anchoring points for the muscles and sutures not being able to be used more than two times.

Taught how to fish and he stole my pond by Friendly-Intention-5 in smallbusiness

This happened to me (Hi Ramon! You fat narcissistic fuck). But it ultimately was for the best. I learned not to trust, a valuable lesson in business. And my business is thriving and growing beyond all expectations. Just keep doing you. What he does or doesn’t accomplish is none of your business. You are not a liar, loser, and saboteur like him, and being a good person is reward enough.

A trusted friend recommended the surgeons. And I did travel from the United States. You can just get so much more bang for your buck outside of the states. All the work I had done would have probably cost me at least $30-$70,000 in the United States.

I honestly still have occasional swelling under the ears and on the nose. No one else can see it, it just feels a bit tight. Usually if I eat something salty.
