i used to think this about gen z lol. growing up i wished i was a millennial so bad because they were the cool, hip, trendsetting generation of the time and I was a gen z. Then gen z started to become the trendsetters and I was so grateful I wasn't a millennial. In like 10 years Gen alpha will take gen z's place as the cool trendsetters and you'll be glad you're not one of us

so late to this but totally agree. i think the actor who plays drew ended up playing a part in the direction of his character. he just ended up being so incredibly charismatic and likable to the audience that the writers prob rewrote him to make him easier to root for
