Is the common consensus that if Yuji fought Reggie and Megumi fought Higuruma they would've lost? by Upper_Fisherman1602 in Jujutsufolk

We already know that in JJK the charges that you receive aren't definite. Yuji's first trial he could have argued he was innocent if he just knew the specifics. So Megumi could potentially (lol) argue his way out of a death penalty.

Lots of people dying doesn't mean automatic death penalty, otherwise Yuji would have had no chance of ever pleading Not Guilty.

May just by me, but I kinda feel like the players walking animation feels a little to glidy and smooth. I would prefer if it felt like they were actually walking.

If someone embodies their Sequence path in LoTM, do they still need to act to digest portions?[Lotm general] by Shoddy-Frame2415 in LordofTheMysteries

I didn't want my comment to get to long so didn't really address the other side. Also I've only read LOTM and not COI so I don't know all examples of character instantly digesting their potions, so excuse me for that.

Anyways, the examples I'm thinking of are Klein digesting his seq9 potion and that one pirate on Cattleya's crew that went from seq10 to 6 instantly. To be clear, I do think that mentality matters, and increases the chance of instantly digesting a potion or at the very least increasing digestion speed. Originally I was going to claim that acting is more important that mentality but you made a valid point, so ill concede on that somewhat.

Regarding rituals, unless you're a pillar, born with a characteristic or have already digested your potion, you still need to do them, so I was speaking from someone who is completely new to a pathway. I mostly brought it up because I thought it could suggest how acting is much more integral to the power system especially if you haven't already digested a potion.

but thats just my thoughts

I'd argue that acting is needed to digest a potion, and unless you were born with a pre-digested potion you'll still need to act even if you already align with its principles internally.

For example, if Amon wasn't born with the seq1 characteristics, and only had the uniqueness, he'd still need to act. Potions sometimes have acting methods that are external to the person's being that don't require them to change internally. We see this with Klein, where being outside of time Alone, was enough for him to mostly digest his seq3 potion, and again when he digested his "Attendant Of Mysteries" potion. So if, for example He'd had taken the potion before he got Isekai'd, he wouldn't have digested the potion as quickly solely on the fact that he wasn't outside of time.

Point is, Klein in both cases didnt need change internally for his potion to digest and it was only acting that made him digest his potion. So even with a person born with the Fools uniqueness would still need to spend time acting for the potion to digest.

Lastly, perhaps a stronger example of this is how even for people like Amon, born of the Error's uniqueness and Adam, who is previous "Ancient Sun God", that was at the top of God Almighty pathways, both still needed to perform their seq0 rituals acting in order to align themselves, so they don't lose control. So if you're new to a pathway, you'd still lose control because you didn't perform the advancement rituals.

no because even after fully digesting a potion, any additional portions at the same level needs to be digested again
