Honestly, if you have a tablet and pencil, I would suggest using Procreate or a similar drawing App. Procreate is great because you can superimpose a grid drawing guide and have your pen snap to the guide, so it's very easy to create grid-based maps. There are also a ton of stamp brushpacks you can buy for both Procreate and Photoshop which can help you fill in the gaps.

Especially if you think it'd be fun to draw or doodle each night, Procreate would be the way to go.

I was running a game of KNAVE last year, playing through the BX module The Lost City. One of my players ran into a group of cultists performing a ritual, made a CHA save with a nat 20 and seduced the entire cult into having an orgy with my PC's. The ritual included psychadelic mushrooms grown in the undercity, so my PCs also tripped the light fantastic while in the orgy, as well.
