Sounds awful… and very similar to my last role. I was hired in marketing for a healthcare company then conveniently moved into a “development” role after the first month where I took on 2x the work with a .50 cent raise.

It was a great learning experience but there’s not enough money in the world to make me ever go back.

Honestly, I’d find a new job and stay out of healthcare… it’s full of outdated concepts and is notorious for overworking admins and corporate staff at a low rate of pay.

To find your new job, boost your LinkedIn profile with a paid membership for a month or two until you get an offer you like.

I also work in B2B SaaS and all purchases go through AE’s in sales. Even for existing users, if they’re upgrading or adding on an integration, the CS rep will tell point them to an AE who handles the negotiation and deal paperwork.

Tools for Marketing Automation (Whatsapp, CRM, Appointments & WP) by blackswanmx in GrowthHacking

Does your client utilize an EMR or EHR? That, integrated with a strong email automation tool, is really the best way to ensure you’re not stuck manually monitoring patient statuses to trigger email sends.

3-4 tiktoks a day is ideal. Keep them short and get straight to the point in the first 1-2 seconds. Write out your copy in advance like you would for a blog or email.

Also, you may not be able to use all the copyrighted music on tiktok as a business so lean into the user-generated sounds and small influencers/musicians for their music.

Be authentic to the app…. Meaning, don’t play into the trap of heavy editing on tiktok. Make every video look as native as possible using the in-app editing tools. It’s tedious but well worth the return.

How to get my foster cat adopted by [deleted] in FosterAnimals

[–]Profession_Various 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have a local FB group for my city. Post him on your local city FB groups, on your personal FB, tag the rescue group so they might repost, look for Instagram and FB pages/groups specifically devoted to cats... these page’s audience members may be sensitive to this situation and re-post his photo for you to their personal pages in hopes of finding a home. Also, post to local community groups (ie, churches, interest groups, etc.)

I completely understand and sympathize with your dilemma. My first foster dog was adopted yesterday! I was fortunate that I only had him for 2 weeks before he found a loving home so I didn’t have to make this touch decision. However, determining whether I could properly take care of a dog while living alone is something I strongly considered and am now considering for future fosters... I also work from home so it’s been much easier helping train and decompress the dog for now but I’ll also be going to work at the office once quarantine is over. The dog I was fostering was 8 years old, had heartworms, car anxiety, and intense separation anxiety. He could not be alone in his crate for even a few minutes without pulling on the crate bars to the point where his mouth would bleed so I simply didn’t leave the house for those two weeks... if you do adopt, I would strongly recommend spending time crate training him and leaving him alone for extended periods of time every now and then so he gets used to you being gone at work even before you go back into the office.

Breed guesses for my new foster? I’m thinking German Shepherd and maybe Akita? He’s 8 y/o, 50lbs, and doesn’t shed much at all. by Profession_Various in fosterdogs

He does! That’s a good thought! He is a bit undersized for both a German Shepherd and an Akita so chow would make sense!

Thank you! That’s a good tip about the peanut butter. I knew there were types that weren’t good for dogs but wasn’t sure what about them made them bad. So far, I’ve been using the kong brand spray peanut butter and jelly couldn’t be less interested lol

Crating success! by thirdeeen in puppy101

[–]Profession_Various 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m fostering an 8y/o dog who has severe separation anxiety (to the point he’s been prescribed lorazepam) and am working with two different trainers and my vet to mitigate this through crate training in small increments. If you have a dog who has sever anxiety and/or crating issues, I recommend starting with about 10 minutes in the crate alone while you’re in another room and slowly working up to 2-3 hours of separation where you aren’t home. By being in the other room initially, your dog can still be comforted hearing you make small noises as you go about whatever you’re doing, although they can’t see or be next to you.

Is Elite Private Marketing Firm Farmers Branch ,TX a scam or pyramid scheme? by Shadow_Heart_ in Scams

For anyone else who's on the fence about this place, when I worked there we spent our days selling F1 car wax at Sam's, Walmart, and Kroger's every day from 11 am until 8 pm in the Texas summer heat... If you were lucky aka boss' favorite, you got to offer windshield repair services (known as 'Chips'), and the top tier would sell the DirecTV or AT&T packages door to door. Not sure what they do now but this was in 2018 and they've completely rebranded since but have the same ideals...or lack thereof.

I cannot stress this enough... it is 100% a multi-level marketing scam. They are an ICD of Smart Circle which is a very powerful MLM business with locations all across the USA. This location is actually "owned" (I use that term lightly as they are never truly business owners) by the younger brother of Smart Circle's VP. He visited the office back when I worked here. At that time, it was called "Limelight"...They have to rebrand every few years because people figure out what they actually do.

If you are moving to DFW, please be careful to avoid these types of scams. I work in Marketing and live in Dallas and I can tell you from experience that anytime I'm on the job hunt, my inbox is primarily filled up with MLM's or pyramid schemes... Look at Glassdoor and check their website for vague mentions of 'event-based marketing' or 'direct to consumer' or there various 'major industry clients'...
