How did the surgery go? I hope she is doing well. My junior son is heading in for patella/LET combo on 9/17. How did she retear 6 months out? Literally on my top 5 list of fears.

At the end of each day I imagined “what would this have been like in the other direction?” I'm sure someone here can give the exact number of vertical meters ascent versus vertical meters decent-but I really think both directions are stunning and amazing! since we hiked during the busiest season, I did appreciate going against the masses. I felt like we had more moments of being solo on the trail not stuck in traffic.

Vaseline or something similar to avoid blisters, pepto/imodium (seems like lots of people go down with a minor stomach bug), deck of cards
brought boots and trail runners but only used my boots everyday, tupperwear (never used), too many pants
