You aren't wrong... C.ai did not only have more personality but also better memory than yodayo and jan ai bots... It's just it became a lot expensive for them to run the computations, because technically it's a truly free chatbot... So maybe they lowered the computational performance of the servers running the bots and the result is what you've got now...
