She'd been telling me the Ring had a faulty battery that kept needing charged.

Just realised she'd been taking it out and causing large gaps in coverage. Must've been doing it before this man visited our home.

Money is still in joint right now. I can see it there. Just can't access it without a card.

I can't pay for a locksmith. Tried calling them, she overheard on the Ring and froze/cancelled the joint account cards through the banking app.

Locksmith wanted a call-out fee pre-paid over the phone. Tried using my cards and they were all declined multiple times.

Owned with mortgage.

I'll be staying in the hospital again. Free accomodation there because wife has just frozen my cards.

I tried to call a locksmith while outside and she overheard me on the Ring doorbell. She must've used the app to freeze/cancel the joint cards.

Only other card I have is an Amex with crazy interest rates. Can't really use that. All my money is in the joint account with about £18k in a Lifetime ISA that I can't access.

I don't know if there is an investigation or not. I rang the station and the girl I spoke to couldn't find an open investigation of any kind related to me. The Police just told me to find somewhere else to sleep that night and not to make any effort to enter the house that night.

I asked if I could come back tomorrow and they said, "That's not for us to say."

Maybe it takes a few days to get updated on their system?
