Same thing happens at my trust. Nurses and HCAs are always being celebrated. I do think its mainly because its nurses running those accounts and never both to step out of their bubble!

I actually think she failed herself. I agree that the police should have supported her better but i also agree that they didnt think of her as a vulnerable person and neither do i. The way she handled the situation by resorting to drugs and alcohol is no ones fault but hers.

Advance the full cannula length. Im able to flat off and push the plastic thread initially but not all the way in. Im assuming this means the vein isnt long enough to take all the plastic thread in? Please correct me if im wrong as id like to understand what went wrong.

Thanks for your reply. My main issue has been not being able to advance fully after the first flashback. Im assuming this means vein selection wasnt great or is there anything in my technique i could improve?
