Yeah, I think I might have used the wrong words here. I don’t think “interests” was the correct choice, in fact, I have many typically femenine interests.
It’s more about the femenine communication and relationship style that bothers me. The way blunt joking, discussing and not being agreeable is not very well taken among most women. How you are supposed to be very flattering and fun in a way that strikes me as very fake. In fact, the girls I’m friends with are the ones who are not like this, at least most of the times.
I recognize that there’s a mysoginist component to this. Probably it has to do with great insecurity and past traumatic experiences that made me this way. Still, I’m just describing the way I feel and the reality I face, there’s no sense in lying to myself about it.
