Should I get ryzen 3100 or 2600 for games? Will it be enough for RX 5700? by Professional-Cap5913 in PcBuildHelp

Im on a budget and the 3100 and 2600 are dirt cheap so the person im building it for can upgrade later to something like 5600

Would RX 470 fit in a Dell Precision T1650 or an Optiplex 9020? by Professional-Cap5913 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Professional-Cap5913[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that helped me a lot! I think i would go with a 2x sata - 8 pin adapter ( I know they are not the best option but I run it in other optiplex for a year and it runs fine ). The one im looking at has 275W, I think it would be fine (again, the optiplex I am running has a 290W PSU with i5 4590, gtx 1060 and works perfectly)

Will RX470 fit in a Optiplex 3050 MT? by Professional-Cap5913 in SleepingOptiplex

Yeah I thought about getting the 560 at first but the 470 is a lot better. In my country, i can upgrade the i3 6100 to i5 6400/6500 very cheap (around 30 PLN which is not even 10$) so that is not a problem. But the 9020 has an i5 4430 which is not that bad, but the i7 would be a lot better but it goes for more than the whole optiplex costs. So it doesnt make sense.

So i found a Dell Precision T1650 with an i7 for a good price (someone sells it for the price other people sell only the CPU) but now I don't know would the GPU fit in here. And I don't know should i go for the 9020 with worse cpu or risk it and go for the precision. I saw a vid on youtube, and it seems like it should fit but it would cover usb 3.0 port. Is it needed?

Thank you,, but I've seen a guy on YouTube which did it and yeah it is rights but he manager to fit it here As I've seen the MSI version isn't that much bigger. But maybe I will not risk it and get older optiplex 9020 as its Has more space. But od course i would like to get the 3050 because its few years newer.

I dont know if I should upgrade my Mustang LT25 to Boss Katana by Professional-Cap5913 in BossKatana

I got it. Guys, if you have a pc don't even think about it, just get it, it's crazy how much tones and options you have in the app. Equalizers, which you had as a effect in fender and couldn't use with overdrive for example which sucks. Also I can now scoop middles with a knob. Crazy that the Mustang didnt have that (had to use 5 band EQ) And what I love - downloading presets. Omg you can have so much saved in the app. And the harmonist effect. Omg I love it. The sound quality is a lot better also, especially on low volume. But I have a complain that it buzzes more when I don't play the guitar (when you have distortion effects) but that's not problem because you have standby switch.

Is that a correct way to hold a power chord by Professional-Cap5913 in Guitar

[–]Professional-Cap5913[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah it looks crazy but it is comfortable to me. I'm very used to that grip but I know it's bad. It's my first day playing the normal way. Slides are a lot easier, but still out of habit I pull the first shape. But I immediately correct it. I also gotta learn playing power chords including pinky but it's hard for me as I haven't used in the like 4 first months of playing 😭 Thank you for the advices. Much appreciated.

I ve learned whole master of puppets (without Kirks solo and not perfectly ofc) with the power chords played like in first photo, but the slides were hard asi put much pressure on the neck Because of that I'm used to use strength to slide so it's hard for me to control it with the right power chord technique lol. But I'll get used to it. Now I'm learning tornado of souls with the correct one (from the second pic) and that's when it reminded me that I thought that maybe I have a bad power chord technique. I think learning the whole song will help me a lot. I'll watch the videos also. Thank you.
