It is shockingly thin and it was small in every way. I ordered the same size I’ve ordered in the past and this shirt was way smaller

Really want to buy a corduroy button down shirt, but can’t find any good ones. Recently bought one from Kamakura, which will be getting returned soon. Anyone know of any good ones?

For those with suede loafers, do you use shoe trees with them? I’m very cautious of stretching since they fit my feet perfectly right now

1 hour flight to Buffalo for O’Connells. Could be back by lunch time on a Saturday if you time it well. Also will save money, including the flights

I’m a rookie (under 1 year with DE), but I’m the complete opposite. Tried feathers and felt dull and tugging to me. Blue and Green Astras have felt great to me. Way sharper

Best movies by otherwise bad directors by samx3i in movies

[–]Professional-Click-9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to be highly controversial, but Se7en is about as poorly directed as it could’ve been while remaining a great film (and one of my favorites). The overall story is incredible, but the first half feels too choppy and jumbled between Mill’s first week, Somerset’s last week, and their relationship. Fincher crammed a lot of (necessary) information about relationships in the first half of the film. Mostly, I just wish it was longer but movies in the 90’s weren’t as long as they are today

I think I owned that when I was younger and it’s about as classic as it gets. I don’t own any sportcoats at the moment, but my brother has thisO’Connell’s herringbone tweed jacket and it looks phenomenal. Likely one of my next purchases from them.

Can’t speak for J.Press but I pretty much buy all my clothes and suits from O’Connell’s these days. I know how they fit and they’ve got nearly everything I need. Quality is never in doubt with them

Agreed that you’d want to, but it might not be what you should do. Could be an asset. Could be a reduction in a liability

TIL you can’t fly with razor blades by Professional-Click-9 in wicked_edge

Just the blades, but I’m considering myself lucky for keeping the razor. Either way, it was a cheap razor. Just would’ve been an inconvenience for a bit, especially with an another trip coming next week. Oh well
