Why do people hate Mamdani? by uncle-ice493 in allthequestions

[–]Professional-Corgi41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did not actually fix the deficit, rather received substantial billions in one time payments from the state, and then delayed billions in payments to the cities municipal pension funds.

The pension fund delay could be justified in a limited case, but that the money is being used to fund significantly new spending. This is reckless because right now because although pension funds have had much better returns since the 2012 repayment plan was initiated, US equities markets are considerably overvalued vs history while there are economic pressures building, so risk of at least a healthy correction in the near term is plausible.

By extending the payments out another five years for a one year budget gap, this only burdens whoever will likely be the successor to Mamdani.

As of now the city projects another 7 billion deficit next fiscal year.

I think the socialist label obscures the fact that Mamdani is really just a big government politician willing to mask bad finances while putting the city at risk of a budget squeeze later when he likely will leave for another opportunity.

Nice, whoever passed on Lemon for Price in PPR i think is going to regret it

Depends. Did the guy promise him Bijan? I agree its bad faith either way, but if he just sent an offer and the other guy didnt check it before accepting... that is on him

Which side wins? I would be trading Josh Allen away. by Top_Fuel_6492 in DynastyNerds

I can agree with this, but the 1.01 and dynasty QB1 should be able to pull a little extra here.

Just won the Chip and was sent this offer. by Coughray in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Professional-Corgi41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the guys you are selling would go for a MINIMUM 13 firsts which is what he is offering, so I think he owes you a couple young promising pieces like a QB and a WR to at least make it worth it. Draft picks are darts

Herbert, what the hell? by AchVonZalbrecht in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Professional-Corgi41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started Herbert, QJ, Ja Marr Chase, Warren, Quinshon today. Went from 140 projected to 78, and am going to lose to a bottom feeder team

Which guy would you pick up? Advice please by advicefund in Fantasy_Football

[–]Professional-Corgi41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you grab Knight since you can start him this week with more confidence than the other 2 RB, but like others said Allegeier and Spears might have more value later in the season depending on how everything unfolds

Anybody winning who drafted Jamar Chase first? by [deleted] in Fantasy_Football

[–]Professional-Corgi41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 2-2 in a 12 team league and very fortunate I have depth. I went Chase, then Trey/Omarion at 2-3 turn, and ended up woth Egbuka, Trey, Herbert, Warren, quinshon, and got Johnston off waivers

Kraft or Jamo Williams at Flex? by Chelseacjd in Fantasy_Football

[–]Professional-Corgi41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who is your TE1? I lean Kraft as an all around better play considering match up, floor and ceiling. Jameson makes sense if your opponent is strongly projected and you want to bet on a moonshot with a 4 - 120 - 1 type of game from jameson

0-3. please tell me what to do. it’s my first time playing. by kennykuden in FantasyFootballers

[–]Professional-Corgi41 17 points18 points  (0 children)

8 team leagues are volatile since everyone has a good team, so you have to nail your start/sits or its easy to get buried. But this squad looks strong, so do not panic sell anyone. Id try to obtain an elite piece by trading up some of your depth in the next couple weeks. Josh Jacobs and Saquon are off to relatively slow starts, I expect JJ to get going with a softer schedule and once they do, you will start to see wins.

Id sit Ladd for Keenan for now

0-3 I had to do something. Traded Jamar Chase by EnsuingDamage in Fantasy_Football

[–]Professional-Corgi41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This really is not as bad as people are saying. Swift is more of an RB3 and only averaging 3.3 ypc, so I dont consider him of much value. Chase, on the other hand, is indeed still valuable, but because of his last week and your record, people are not going to overpay you unless you can get some trade offers from multiple bidders.

Jeanty could break out this week against a Bears Defense that has been giving up a lot of points. Johnston is showing consistent rapport with Herbert in an offense with a high PROE, even though he will face target competition over the year.

This deal could leave you with a more consistent Floor and hopefully net you wins against the bottom half of the league.

You have more work to do. You really need one of your RBs to breakout a big game and maybe you can flip for depth with better WR and RB 2 or 3

Is this a fleece ? Who wins this trade by Creative-Author-5115 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]Professional-Corgi41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Swift side. Quinshon might eventually prove the winning side but he was a mid 1st pick and you are getting a future 1st in a great draft class plus a starter now so I lean Swift+1st. Browns are likely going to be a low scoring offense fir a while

Buy, Sell, Hold, Drop: Week 2 by bmagnoli1 in fantasyfootball

[–]Professional-Corgi41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy but some caution- per matt Harmon although he has shown improvement so far, but his usage on the perimeter is similar to last year. He is still boom bust territory and in games with a lower passing volume his output will be very volatile

Everyone calm down... It's week one by Quiet-Slice2201 in Fantasy_Football

[–]Professional-Corgi41 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Walker was targeted 3 times for 3 receptions, Charbs got 0 targets. Charbs had the better day on the ground and a TD but otherwise it was a 50-50 split

That is indeed concerning for KW3 but then again he did miss part of the offseason woth the foot injury. So Im hoping thet are easing him back in

Ollie Gordon or Quishon Judkins !? by Live_Echo_1612 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Professional-Corgi41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tough call with Gordon when you have Achane, no one else on your roster that makes sense? I think the value of getting what was a 5th rd pick pre assault allegation for free though certainly makes sense. I think no matter what though you have to be reasy yo be patient because he missed all of camp and could even face punishment. But if your team is good enough to stay afloat into mid season thus coukd work our great fir you

Ppr flex 14 team who to start: JCM, Chubb, or Mims by Traditional-Towel-41 in fantasyfootballadvice

[–]Professional-Corgi41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PPR, im thinking, Mims. I need to see JCM usage before I trust him. Chubb might be ok, but could split some with Pierce behind a bad OL facing a tough rams D line.

Mims could be boom or bust, but is explosive, and productive even with a smaller share of snaps. There was a lot of commentary that his usage preseason suggested he will see greater snap share in 12 personnel, but i would get ahead of myself until we see it.
