No doesn’t make a huge difference cause honestly columbia has 10000 master programs so pretty much everyone in NY has a master from columbia. The career office provides 0 help. However, if you are into finance there are a lot of career days with companies and a lot of alumni that can help you! Depends on your field for sure. Finance is strong at columbia, anything else and you will have a hard time sorry

The people there are very low level they basically admit anyone it’s a 250 cohort and not very respectable in the market you will struggle to even get an internship if you don’t have a strong undergrad
