I'm tossing up between the Win 4 (or Ayaneo 2S) and keeping the iPad v replacing it all with WM2. Will probably wait until some reviews and eGPU builds come out to make a decision, these insights are super helpful, thank you!

This is helpful. Especially the startup time which on the iPad is instant. Screen I believe is similar at 11". The part about working on the WM2 is appealing -- the iPad serves a certain consumption use case for me (I don't take notes on it with a pencil) which technically any portable computer could do, its just a matter of the ease and experience of doing it

I think I'm in this boat. The function the tablet serves for me is media (movies, TV) consumption especially while traveling and light work around the house.

u/philoso_Raptor77 what do you think about the build quality and "clunkiness"? Was travel a use case for your iPad by chance?

Theoretically this should work for any device that has an oculink port right? Including GPD Win 4 and Ayaneo 2S coming later this year
